Below are projected routes and schedules for trains, buses, and the Devonport Ferry with the introduction of SUPERMAXX. Six months is a reasonable time frame to implement these across the city, two months to refine the routes, two months in the public domain for comment by Local Boards and residents of each area, and two months to change drivers rosters and promote the new schedules to the public.
This could have been implemented in 2008 with huge benefits to Aucklanders with much better services and much lower costs to commuters and ratepayers.
It is outrageous that 1,000 people in Auckland Transport receiving over $70 million in wages are incapable of completing their simplified network before 2016. There is no excuse for this.

PAPAKURA - PUKEKOHE
A DMU will be based at Papakura for a trial period of 6 months to operate services on the hour from Pukekohe 6am to 8pm and from Papakura on the half hour 5.30am - 7.30pm Monday - Friday with limited services Papakura - Pukekohe - Glenbrook Railway on saturdays and sundays when Glenbrook Railway is operating. (Regional bus services will provide service Waiuku - Pukekohe - Papakura hourly Monday - Sunday providing service every 30 minutes from Pukekoke to Papakura, alternately bus and train,Monday - Friday and more limited services on saturday and sunday).
An express service by diesel SA train will be offered Monday - Friday departing Pukekohe 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and Britomart at 8.30am, 11,30am, 2.30pm, and 5.30pm stopping only at Papakura, Manurewa, and Newmarket. Further services may be added subject to demand.
The Manukau City and Onehunga services will provide a 10 minute service through Penrose, Ellerslie, and Newmarket to and from Britomart for most of the day monday - saturday
FERRIES
The only ferry service included in Supermaxx is the Downtown to Devonport with services every 20 minutes in each direction which will require 2 ferries. Connecting service provided to and from Takapuna via Lake Rd and local routes serving Narrowneck - Belmont - Takapuna, and Stanley Point. Bayswater - Takapuna.
